BancNet is the Philippines single ATM switch operator. It is a multi-bank, multi-channel electronic payments network that enables its members’ customers to transact not only at Automated Teller Machines (ATM) but also at point- of- sale (P.O.S.) terminals, the Internet and other mobile devices. It started operations on July 17, 1990.

Aside from the traditional cash withdrawal service at the ATM, BancNet provides a wide range of services through the different channels, such as balance inquiry, checkbook re-order, statement request, interbank fund transfer, payment of bills, prepaid phone and Internet reloading, payment of purchases by direct debit to account, and remittance of taxes, Pag-IBIG, Philhealth and Social Security System contribution and loan repayments.

Its interconnection with international ATM and POS networks Diners Club, Discover Card, KFTC, JCB, MasterCard, Union Pay, and VISA, enables foreign cardholders to access their accounts in the Philippines.

It has also interconnected with the Korea Global Payment (KFTC) allowing cardholders of Philippine issued ATM cards to access their accounts in Korea through KFTC’s network of ATMs.

BancNet was designated by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (BSP) as the clearing switch operator (CSO) of the automated clearing house (ACH) for low-value, real time electronic fund transfer called instaPay.

NAPAS has been licensed to provide financial switching and electronic clearing services to more than 50 domestic and international commercial banks operating in Vietnam. NAPAS’ switching infrastructure has been interconnected wide range of ATMs, POS and payment companies in the fields of utilities, aviation, telecommunication, hotel industry and tourism.
